Food is good and hot my only complain, but it’s a personal preference. The plantains are a little too thick. I’m used to thinner, but they did come on hot and crunchy. The pork was nice and crispy toasted overall it was worth the wait. I’m enjoying the food. I did read the negative reviews, but I always like to give people a chance and make my own opinion. My advice to anybody coming for the first time it just give it a try and make up your own mind. guy is out there working by himself and he’s not cooking just for one person.
$35 for this fritura, a coke and passion fruit cup. We ordered a 35 piece plate and told the guy to put the plantains on the side as I don’t like how they mix and get soggy, he agreed to it but said he wouldn’t add more pieces of meat (which we weren’t expecting anyways). He then proceeded to ask if we wanted the fritura “con todo..” without us asking he went ahead and said “carne, orejita, alitas..” and we said yes. Took an eternity and a half to get the food. We grabbed it and went to park elsewhere as they’re in a busy main road. Upon opening the bag, this is what we see. Limes that are already squished, no carne salada, tostones looked and tasted stale and old. Went back and the guy said he had ran out of meat and only had what he gave us. 1 chicken wing, 3 pieces of cheese, 1 orejita,
The food was delicious and it was a nice affordable price. However, I would recommend that you call ahead because it took 45 minutes to get our order but it's a good late-night snack to ear it fresh.
Great food and prices are not too bad compared to other Latin restaurants. They are always busy so I always make sure to call ahead to place my order but overall it's a great place to eat.
Caught them at a very busy moment but very worth the wait. I ordered a small portion of fried pork and one of fried salami both with tostenes. They packed the plate. A healthy serving of both meat and the fried plantains. I didn't even put a dent in the plates before I was full. This is probably within my top 5. I'll def be back for a second serving. After i finish this 1st ones. Lol
