La Chona Mexican Food

10/10! Went for the first time tonight and thoroughly enjoyed it. The restaurant is so clean and smells amazing. The atmosphere was relaxed and bright. Customer service was excellent. The food was delicious, I got the quesabirrias and was impressed with the amount of consome they served. I will absolutely recommend and will be going back. Les deseo mucho mucho exito!! 👏🏽

Food was pretty good. The rice was cooked perfectly. The steak for tacos was very overcooked. The menu prices didnt reflect the prices I was charged (was charged more).

Very clean the atmosphere was very relaxing. We feel like at home. The food was really good. I recommend it 100%.

We went to,La Chona, for some chilé rellenos. But there weren't any left. So I had una torta de milanesa de pollo, my husband comio una semita de rez y el nene comio un burrito de pollo. Oh my goodness, this comida fue la mejor que encontre en Reading. It is small inside,very clean,even the music was nice. You want good Mexican food,please go visit, La Chona! You will not be disappointed, I promise you that!

Absolutely love this restaurant! The food is always fresh and full of flavor — the tamales are hands down the best I’ve ever had. The owner is so kind and welcoming, which makes every visit feel special. You can really tell they put love into everything they make. Highly recommend if you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food!
