I was super excited to try this restaurant when i saw it. The warm and inviting lighting, colors and overall aesthetic were nice and clean. I definitely took in mind the fact that it’s a small restaurant front, just starting and still refining their menu… but I couldn’t take the mushroom taco. I love mushrooms, like love mushrooms, but this taco options needs to be worked on, the meat for the short rib taco is just not tender needs a bit more flavor. I never like to give bad reviews but they messed with mushrooms up, how could you do that ?! The spicy margarita was initially sweet I squeezed half a lime inside of it and brought all the flavors together. I really really do hope they can get it together for their business to flourish because they have so much potential ✨

I had takeout, food was fine. I am giving a low rating due to a large service fee over 10% of the order! I ordered on their own website, there's no mention of it until you try to checkout. Unfortunately I was doing a group order and didn't have time to start the whole order process at another place by then.

Great plantains. Overall vibe is great. Perfect place to get snacks for board game night.

I’ve been here several times after work or during lunch and truly enjoy it. The Latin music playing gives it a nice vibe. Gabriel is very attentive to everyone, offers excellent customer service which makes you want to come back. Overall great experience and great margaritas for happy hour

Love La Coce ! Fast, delicious and bountiful ! So glad we finally have a great Mexican quick service restaurant in east midtown. The Hugh is awesome. Love sitting at the counter when I have the time.
