La Cocina De Las Catrachitas

Went on a Wednesday at about 4:00pm and it was empty bedsides me and one other table. It was cute inside with appropriate decor for a Hondoran restaurant and there was great music, too (though the music was a little too loud). My server was a young lady who was quick to get to my table with the menu. I ordered horchata but they were out, so I got a Tamarindo instead. It was delicious and a huge amount! I ended up getting two pork pupusas and they were delish! Also came with a good amount of curtido. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu!

I recently discovered La Cocina de las Catrachitas completely by accident and they have HEAT. The pupusas are incredible! Delicias has some competition I've never had traditional Honduran but if you're generally familiar with Latin American cuisine you'll find something to try.

If you're looking for an amazing culinary experience, I highly recommend trying the authentic 🇭🇳 Honduras food 🇭🇳 available in Lynchburg. The dishes are prepared from scratch using fresh ingredients, and the flavors are truly delicious. It's definitely food that I believe you’ll enjoy and love it!

The Baleadas and Plantains are amazing. Great authentic food and super service. Cokes come in cool tall bottles. We took home half our meal...the portions are big and extremely reasonable on price. Very very fresh.

This is a family-friendly restaurant with authentic and delicious Honduran food. My family and I go at least once a week. Seriously, it is that good!! We don't speak Spanish, but Merlin and his family speak great English and make us feel welcome. I love the baleadas especial with beef, and it is fantastic to hear the traditional hand-working of the dough as Merlin's wife makes each baleada order. The soups are delicious and everything I have tried has been fabulous!!! Dine-in is relaxing and take-out is fast and easy. So glad to have La Cocina De Las Catrachitas in Lynchburg!
