La Criolla Food Market

I stopped by without expecting much but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered a sandwich and some coffee. They made the sandwich from scratch so I had time to look around at some of the unique products they sell. There is a combination of imported and domestic products, but none of them are common things you can find in a Miami grocery store. The service was excellent, the sandwich was fantastic!

I placed an order through the app, and it showed the place was open. We arrived on time, but the girls had a terrible attitude. Let me remind you—this is not Latin America. They literally closed the door in my son’s face, even though he had the app with the order ready for pickup. Then they came back with a nasty attitude and handed us a box full of old bread. When we got home, we tried heating it up to see if the texture would improve—but it was still rock hard, greasy, and clearly a few days old. I saw the place already had a low rating on the app, but I didn’t think it would be this bad. Don’t forget: this isn’t the ranch you came from. This is not Latin America.

Great empanadas and wonderful customer service!

I like this place. The breaded cutlets are fantastic.
