Never had a bad meal here. Ordered 10 pupusas to go. Took about 30 minutes for the order to come out but they were still piping hot when I got home after a 20 minute drive. No complaints

Pupusas are delicious, large and priced fair. (Most are $2 each) They serve large portions of cortido and two bottles of salsa. The other entree we ordered was incredible. Meat was tender, delicious, sauce was incredible and the rice & beans were perfectly prepared.

This place is one of my low key favorites when I am visiting family in Des Moines or just happen to be passing through town. It is close to another awesome spot in Thai Flavors and becomes a two for one to go order stop of deliciousness with some diversity thrown in to your day. I seriously order 10-12 papusa of assorted flavors and if you don't know what those are google what you have been missing out on. The todo is super tasty, but my wife and I love them all. They have traditional beverages as well that are a special treat and unique. View the pictures below at the menu items. I walked in to the place and it smelled super bad like uncleaned bathrooms. I went to order my food and she made me write down my own order, the lady was also really rude and was mad the whole time and being super sarcastic. I waited around 20 minutes to get my food and when I got it she gave me my change wrong. Overall do not recommend they have really bad customer service.

the first time I ordered from this place and most likely the last time. I had placed a big order this past Saturday for my family and I, when I get there there’s no one at the counter until I ring a bell the lady comes out from what seems the back and she only looks at me and I let her know I’m here to pick up my order and I give her my name and she goes to the back again. Another lady comes out and goes “ can I help you” I let her know I’m picking up my order and she asks for my name. as I’m paying she brings out my order and once I’m done paying I had simply asked if she had separated them by name she gives me a face and her tone changes and says “ no you didn’t ask for that” the service here was very unprofessional and rude
