This is the first time we stopped by and I have to say the empanadas were delicious 😋 We loved the “Carne mechada” & the chicken. Update: Every time we stop by they treat us like family. They made us feel very welcome.🤗. I’m so glad we found this place. We definitely will be coming back more often. So many pastries, desserts, even coffee. I totally recommend this place 100%.
LA ESQUINA DE LA EMPANADA & BAKERY is a hidden gem. I ordered Venezuelan & Colombian empanadas along with some freshly made bite-sized items (I can’t recall the names, but they were absolutely delicious). I was so eager to try the Venezuelan empanada that I completely forgot to take a picture of it. Everything was flavorful, fresh, & clearly made with care. The atmosphere is welcoming, cozy & very cute inside. Highly recommend 10/10.
5/5 Stars If you are looking for authentic Venezuelan flavors, LA ESQUINA DE LA EMPANADA & BAKERY is an absolute gem. This family-run spot has a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home the moment you walk in. The Venezuelan empanadas are the standout here—perfectly crispy on the outside with a slight sweetness to the cornmeal dough, and packed with savory, delicious fillings. You can really taste the care and tradition that goes into their cooking. It’s clear this business takes great pride in what they do. Whether you’re a fan of Venezuelan cuisine or trying it for the first time, this bakery is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
The place was awesome, I think the venezuelan empanadas are a little pricey compared to the Colombian empanadas, since the Colombian ones are bigger and tastier. The sauces are good, the variety of things around the store was delightful. They have many cakes and sweets, they looked delicious. The staff girls were cutie pies too. Real friendly attitude and beautiful smiles.
The owners who run this place are amazing. They are extremely nice and welcoming. I will say the food is amazing; it's just a tad expensive compared to other competitors.
