FAMILY! That’s what this place is, family. I was greeted with respect and kindness. I was looking for a real meal, real food and I got just that. You get your moneys worth. Very generous servings so bring someone with you or plan to eat some tomorrow. Lastly I want to say. EVERYTHING is made with LOVE! I was gifted a tres leches and I will say I am not normally a fan but, OH MY GOODNESS :) I’m sweetie….and that cake hits every spot! Beef walking taco- YUMMY! The meat perfect the rice- perfect. Empanadas- 9.5/10 a little too cheesy for me but that’s a personal preference. Overall it was better than expected.

My husband and I love coming here. Tonight we had the toston sandwich and it was DELICIOUS. If you’re looking for authentic Puerto Rican food try this spot.

Owner is very friendly, and we tried a number of foods. This is coming from someone with a Puerto Rican grandmother who ruled the kitchen- the dishes we had were very, very good. Rice was well seasoned and the appropriate texture-no clumps at all. The roast pork was also delicious and the perfect level of moist. Both the potato and macaroni salad were delicious. Especially with the rice. Honestly I can’t decide which I liked more. I’ve also had her savory empanadas, which are a tasty lunch. The flan was the perfect sweet treat. It’s firmer than a Goya flan, and just the right level of sweetness. The guava pastries were also pretty good. I’d say her food is a great representation of Puerto Rican cuisine. If you’ve ever been interested, give it a try!

Food was really good here. I had the chicken and beef empanadas and they were filled with meat unlike other places. I also had the hot Doritos taco bag and it was filled to the top with toppings. Tasted so good. Lots of cheese & sour cream which I love. Nothing dry about it & filling. Generous portions and we got our monies worth. Tres leches was also good. Me & my boyfriend will definitely be returning to try something else

The food is phenomenal and so is the owner!! I finally got a chance to stop in and grab some empanadas, yellow rice, and beans. Everything was delicious, the empanadas are to die for. And the owner is so sweet, kind, and genuine. I will be back often to try everything!
