La FATA’s Eatery

This place is a true gem! It’s rare and refreshing to find authentic Italian sandwiches done to such perfection. I can’t even describe how amazing “Mister Croissant’s Favorite” sandwich is. The combination of flavors and the quality of the fresh ingredients are as good as it gets! This places even has homemade pistachio cream on this sandwich! I’ve never seen some of the imported beverage selections outside of Italy. It was a wonderful treat that exceeded my expectations. Definitely my new favorite place and I’m looking forward to trying everything on the menu.

Such a unique and needed corner of the restaurant market in Middletown! From The incredibly helpful and kind staff/owners, delicious and fresh sandwiches, wide drink and dry goods selection I left wanting nothing more than a second stomach for round 2. The “Mamma Mia” + pistachio cream & pesto was absolutely delicious and so fresh. Place is beautifully appointed and super cozy at night. Also got to try their sister store across the street, Mister Croissant, which was equally delightful. Will absolutely be back and recommend to everybody I know.

Nice vibes for this little big place with a variety of Italian panini on the menu. Top notch ingredients in the one we tried (we had the Mister croissant favorite, he’s the owner by the way). Interesting sodas from Italy and a wine selection as well.

I would say that this is probably a very unique sandwich spot here in Middletown. It sets itself apart from the other deli stores in the sense that it uses ingredients that are fresher and more unique, and certainly bring a full taste of Italy over here to Middletown. While the bread is not as hard or the cheese not as piquant, it sure reminds me of when I got similar sandwiches back in the heart of Europe. Conversely, the portions are slightly larger and the drinks bar has a few options out of the ordinary, and it seems that their offerings are fairly directional: an Italian-inspired sandwich wine-and-dine for those who want something new. I would say check it out and see for yourself.
