La Floridita PDX

I really enjoyed this cafe. I’m Dominican so it felt amazing to enjoy a good strong cafecito and some pastries. The croquettes were my favorite, as was the guava and cheese pastelito. The chicken papa rellena could use a little love as the chicken was dry and bland. I’d also love to see more filling in the pastries.

Really tasty Cuban pastries with beautiful, flaky outsides and delicious fillings! Coffee is great, atmosphere is lovely.

Like all great places they don’t stay the “hidden gems” long. It was bustling. We had to wait for a table and felt like we needed to eat quick to give others a place to sit. Coffee was good, tea wasn’t memorable. However, the food was very tasty and unique. I would go baked for any of the backed goods. So delicious!!

I liked this spot quite a bit. All of the pastries were pretty solid, the only thing we tried that wasn't good was the chicken papa rellena, crumbly and bland. The guava and cheese was incredible tho!!

Super nice and informative barista. These are latin American coffee drinks that you order as they are. Experience a little bit of culture some time! Love the teddy 🧸
