These gorditas are amazing — taste just like the ones back home in Torreón! So glad we’ve got a spot like this here in Houston!

Just being honest, the gorditas are not worth it,they have small portion of meat on them you can't pick them up out of the tray because they fall apart from where the maseca isnt cooked throughly, they are $4 each, thats pretty pricey. Torta was a bit better yet the price on those are $10. The aguas frescas are not that fresca as in taste, This place is just not it. Wife got diarrhea from the 1st gordita she ate. The service was 💯, friendly waitress.

I wonder to give my lunch today. Because their food is very specifically targeted to certain audience, and if you know what they serve here, then you know how good it is. The atmosphere is so cozy. It's so welcoming to eat there.

I drove a 1 hr and 14 minutes to try this place. The food is good but was extremely upset and disappointed when I received my receipt. My son has very bad food aversions and won’t eat certain foods so he brought a slice of pizza he was eating on so he could finish it while we were eating and this place wants to charge me $3.99 extra because my son brought his slice of pizza that was almost gone. STUPID!!!!! I could understand if it was an adult but a small child. NO that’s not cool at all!!!! There was a sign yes but honestly we didn’t see it. It’s under the counter where you pay. I’m not under stuff looking for the sign. It needs to be visible. Also she could have said something to us. Definitely won’t be back EVER!!

we tried corn and flour gorditas with different guisados, and all were tasty. The agua fresca was delicious and my daughter loved the gorditas de nata. Would def go back.
