La Grande Boucherie DC

This was the best dining experience I’ve had in recent memory. This is such a beautiful restaurant, and its beauty is matched by excellent service. Upon seating I was greeted by my server, Amine, Manager Steven, and their sommelier, Giovanni, who recommended the perfect Shiraz. I opted for the rib eye, which was paired with seasonal vegetable. My medium steak was cooked perfectly. I also had a couple of blue point oysters and pommes frites, which were also great. This is the perfect place for a special occasion dinner, business dinner, or dinner alone, as I had. If you’re in DC, definitely take time to visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful experience at La Grande Boucherie thanks to our incredible servers, Timothy R and Tahj. From the moment we were seated, they provided attentive, friendly, and genuinely welcoming service that made our evening feel special. They were knowledgeable about the menu, offered great recommendations, and checked in at just the right moments without ever feeling intrusive. Their professionalism and positive energy truly elevated the entire dining experience. Great food is always important, but outstanding service is what makes a night memorable—and Timothy and Tahj delivered exactly that. We will definitely be back and hope to sit in their section again!

His recommendations were absolutely spot on, and each dish exceeded our expectations. The food itself was outstanding, beautifully presented and full of flavor. Perfect romantic restaurant, with delicious cocktails, appetizers, food and dessert. Your server goes out of the way to make this a special experience. Our server was Vicente and he was great. Must tries: lobster bisque, ribeye, beef bourguignon, and of course crème brûlée. We had the perfect romantic booth to celebrate a birthday. Make a reservation so you don’t have a wait.

We came to celebrate our wedding anniversary and were not disappointed!! The service was incredible and everything we ate was phenomenal! Our server Vicente made great recommendations and was very kind and patient! And Giovanny was a sommelier who really knows his stuff! We are already planning our next trip!
