La Hueca

Ceviche- Casuela - Seco de Chivo and bandeja Ecuatoriana were amazing! It’s a small restaurant with plenty of windows. In my opinion, the service was better than in other Ecuadorian restaurants nearby. The atmosphere was fair, but I was expecting to see more appealing features, such as paintings or attractive symbols. They mentioned that the city requested removed them. Overall 5 ⭐ I will come back again

The humita was really good. Tortilla de verde, acceptable. Muchines are not too bad, but not delicious. My daughter had a cazuela mixta that was salty, but I have to say the shrimp and fish in it were good. I had a bandera, with encebollado and guatita, which were definitely better than Barzola. Seco de chivo was good. I would give a 7 out of 10. Maybe if I'm around and want to stop to eat something, I would. But drive again for 40 minutes to get there, and go around for half an hour looking for a parking spot... It's not worth 😕

Best Ecuadorian seafood restaurant in Jacksom Heights. Authentic flavors just like back at home! Today, I tried the La Hueca Seafood soup.

If you order online they don’t pay attention to the special instructions. If you go in person they don’t understand a word of English. You have to take the food however they make it and they still barely come to attend to you. I never mind paying tip but 20% mandatory for very bad service doesn’t make sense.

Delicious Ecuadorian food!! Definitely a place you can keep coming back. Service was great!
