La joya Mexican Cafe is a hidden gem. The food is good and has authentic Mexican flavors. I love this place for their Chilaquiles Verdes; the green sauce is the perfect taste of mild spiciness, green tomato sourness, and sweetness. I always ask for extra sour cream and extra cotija cheese on top. Although I'm not a fan of onions, the red onions on top are so good. They're served with your choice of eggs, refried beans, and a fresh side salad. You can't skip the 'liquido de fresa (strawberry milkshake)'. The whole staff is very welcoming and friendly; this is a great spot for brunch, providing authenticity and a warm atmosphere.
La Joya absolutely blew my mind. I am from miami and was craving some authentic chilaquiles verde. Upon entering the restaurant, the owner was super kind and welcoming. He took time to explain the items on the menu but I came for the chilaquiles. I had a cafe latte as well and it was delicious and comes in a traditional clay mug that enhances the experience. I’ve had chilaquiles in several restaurants in the states and Mexico La Joya has slipped into first place. The rice and refried beans are flavorful, the salsa verde has the right amount of a spice kick to it. The eggs were perfectly cooked and placed on top. If you are in a 20 mile radius from La Joya I promise it is absolutely worth the trip. The staff here made it a seamless experience with 5 star quality food and service. I’ll be ba
Wow delicious food. The chilaquiles had crispy nachos and the huevos rancheros had delicious rojo salsa. The eggs were perfect for both
The food here is honestly amazing! Great flavor, great portions, and the atmosphere makes you want to come back every time 🔥☕️
Lovely place, it was my first time and seems like they have a good stream of locals. Folks at the counter were very friendly. I was able to sit inside and enjoy a breakfast burrito. Didn't ask them about Wi-Fi (the network is not open but I think may be available) but the seating was suitable for taking a quick meeting with some good headphones that filter light music noise. Would go back for the friendly staff and tasty burrito!
