La Laguna Mexican Restaurant

An authentic Mexican breakfast place with drive-thru and sit-down option that I wished I had tried sooner. Their Chilaquiles Express breakfast entree is awesome and their verde sauce is perfection. Definitely will be back!

La Laguna Mexican Restaurant: Fun, fast, food inside, outside, or to-go. Very clean and lovely decorations. My son found this place while we were going to the Watkinsville area just outside of Athens. It offers a drive-thru window, but inside it's lovely. I'm impressed by how nice and clean they keep the restrooms and in general. I tried a Mexicano style chicken taco that was delicious (on a corn tortilla with cilantro and fresh chopped white onions)! (They also have American style tacos on flour tortillas with lettuce and cheese).Plus, I ordered their Fajita Bowl with all three meats to try (chicken, steak, and shrimp). I was craving good Mexican food and they did not disappoint! Got the tacos to try and a quesabirria. The food was fresh and came with multiple hot salsas to eat with. Really delicious. The server was also really sweet! Will be back.

The food is good, but this is the 3rd time they've gotten my order wrong in 5 visits, and they never give me a receipt. Don't use the drive through, it is quicker to go inside. The staff aren't rude, but not particularly helpful either. Prices aren't always the same from the menu vs what you're actually charged. They're close to being good, but kind of disappointing right now.

Stopped to try their breakfast after trying their regular menu and it did not disappoint! This breakfast bagel was delicious. The lady at the window offered me their home made hot cocoa and it was so yummy too! Haven’t had a bad thing there. Every time I go, the ladies at the drive through windows are always so kind and polite. Makes a difference!
