La Mia Pizzeria ( Chadds Ford Pa.)

This place is a MUST! One of the single best restaurants in the Kennett area! I gotta say the staff were awesome especially the owner. I spoke with him today when I picked up my food and you wanna talk about a true down to earth good guy who has passion about his business and his food. Absolutely thrilled with the commitment to quality here. The prices are super reasonable. My meal was under $25 and large portions, i’m a big guy and I couldn’t finish my sandwich. I got the House Roasted Pork sandwich that comes with Long Hots, Broccoli Rabe, Roasted Garlic Aioli, & Sharp Provolone on a Toasted Hoagie Roll. 10/10 The garlic aïoli and the long hots really made it. It is not a dine in but I gave 5 for location, parking convenience and warmr temps we love the tables outside with huge hydrangeas to sit by. Decorations inside are so cute too for the holidays. Atmosphere inside as well due to team. It is a warm, genuine small business . My daughter finished her recital today for our annual Nutcracker performance and I take her wherever she likes for dinner afterwards. Something we always look forward to La Mia for an amazing pizza! We had the Caprese and the roasted tomatoes were so delicious.

I was looking for a good pizza / wing place near Greenville that wasn't trying to be fancy or gourmet. Just good old pizza and wings. That's exactly what I got, without breaking the bank. The worker was friendly and the pizza and wings looked just how I expected. They came hot and fresh (as they should). Next time I am in the area and need to pick up quick good food, I'm coming here again.

To be clear, this rating is for their sandwich’s I ordered. I got the buff chx and ordered with extra meat. The bread was worse than Wawa quality and not only was it not extra meat, I got charged for it and there was barely any meat in the sandwich. Ridiculous! I then asked the owner what other sandwich I should try and he suggested the hot honey chicken. The cutlet was dry as hell and the bread… well you know. I mean, it sounded good to order on the menu but since all the parts inside were poor quality and cooked badly it was also a major failure. The Stromboli I ordered for the kids was good. I ended up eating that instead and throwing away the sandwich’s. If you can’t make it good, don’t put it on the menu is my suggestion. There no room for arguing this, I grew up eating all kinds o

First time ordering from La Mia. Was searching for a thinner NY style pizza and was not disappointed. Great flavor and toppings were plentiful. Will order again.
