I was excited to try Mexican ice cream bars as there were so many interesting flavors to try. The staff was friendly and spoke to me in Spanish from the moment I arrived which is fine w me bc I got by fine w my broken Spanish I learned growing up in nyc but what if I didn’t speak Spanish? :-) It doesn’t offend me and I would never be upset but it’s just a comment. I asked her which fruit bar had real fruit and she directed me to the Mamey bar ($3.40 w tax) which is a fruit from Mexico w a milky taste ish… I liked learning about this new fruit thank you … it was good … I just didnt taste much actual fruit … and the edges weren’t super fresh bc it’s inside the freezer wrapped on all sides up the one where the stick is out which creates freezer burn. I went in for a simple elote, and I got a lot of elote soup. I had dumped out the water and when I did that all the product went off of the corn. This is my biggest pet peeve

The price they have on the front do not match what they sell. They will want to charge you for every extra stuff separately even if it is supposed to come with.

This was such a great place. Always looked forward to getting a snack here until last night. Upon arriving we find new staff, okay no big deal. Upon arrival we aren't fully decided on what to get. Employee gets annoyed and ignores us once we are ready. Other employee who ends up taking our order has an ugly attitude too. Seems as if she didn't want to be there. Our elote was watery and we weren't provided with napkins, like we always had. Last night's experience was so bad I won't be returning.
