La Patrona Taqueria & Pupuseria

We ate at La Patrona Taqueria & Pupuseria tonight and everything we ordered was really good. No misses at all. Tacos de carne asada were flavorful and tender, pupusas revueltas were thick, fresh, and packed, and the yuca con chicharrón was crispy and cooked perfectly. The gordita de asada and the sope al pastor were loaded and full of flavor. And the sopa de mondongo deserves its own shoutout. Rich broth, great texture, and clearly made the right way. If you like tripe soup, this one is the real deal. Good portions, solid salsas, and food that tastes homemade. If you’re near Courthouse Road in Spotsylvania and want authentic food, this spot is absolutely worth it. We’ll be back

Friendly staff, great prices and nice atmosphere. Food was delicious but the surprisingly best part was the fresh thin handmade tortillas.😋

Incredible pupusas with lots of filling. Atmosphere is very pleasant and clean. Service was incredible. Definitely recommend!!

Awesome new spot to visit! We had a carnita taco, a couple pupusas, and a gordita. They were all fantastic, the hot sauces had some good heat and flavor. Probably the best part was that you could order just 1 of either of those if you just wanted a quick bite. Very good prices, you would of probably spent more at taco hell for half the quality

As an el Salvadorian Myself, I have to say these pupusa‘s are absolutely amazing. I’ve gone to three different locations in Fredericksburg and none taste like these. The tomato sauce is on point. The pupusa filling is on point and the two complementary hot sauces they give you are top-tier.
