A good place to begin your explorations is at one of the longest running, La Placita Mexicana, which has evolved in its ten or so years of existence from a tiny kitchen inside a grocery to a slightly less tiny kitchen inside a grocery with a massive following. Because growth really is not an option at this original location, they have opened up two formal restaurants nearby, but the casual nature of the grocery is still preferred. This place was just great! I ordered a torta de chorizo and it was the best Torta I have ever had. Way better then Pizzas citys tortas. (No shame on them) My family loved this place. It was pretty clean and didnt smell. On one side is the Restaurant and the other is like a small super market. Pretty cool if I say so my self. I hope you love this place like I did!
