La Porteña # 3

As someone who found a love early on for Latin food (mostly Mexican and Puerto Rican due to the demographics in Chicago) moving to Miami has been an incredible opportunity to introduce myself to other cuisines from other Latin countries all throughout Central and South America. I was lucky enough to stumble upon La Porteña, a Honduran spot with a diverse menu and a what I thought to be a tremendous introduction to Central American cuisine. Carne Asada was insanely good and so was their selection of soups. I'm going to have to go back to try the other items, but those two right off the bat were outstanding and made a great first impression.
