La Tambora Restaurant

Horrible service!! I ordered through doordash pick up, already arriving the lady had an attitude for my pick up. Once I arrived home I realized rice was missing. I called they argued a bit but told me to go back an pick it up. Once I arrive they instantly start arguing with me and refuse to give me the missing rice! The fight was over a small rice!! Incredibly disappointing how petty they acted over a small container of rice.

During my recent visit to La Tambora Restaurant, I had the pleasure of enjoying their white rice with chicken soup and plantains, and it was absolutely delightful. Food was fantastic. I had tacos, 1 each -steak, ground beef and pork. All great, I liked pork best. Fresh cilantro really made it superb. My husband had tripletta Cuban, which had more stuff on it than a regular Cuban, and was delicious! Also sweet plantains were super yummy. Generous portions, so we took some home Only reason it’s not 5 stars is because it’s shared space with Dunkin’ Donuts, so no atmosphere, just a couple of tables. Highly recommend this restaurant. Will definitely return when we’re in the area. Look forward to trying more items on the menu!

I wonder about the positive reviews at this spot...definitely will not return ...bought a double order of oxtail..it was bland and tough to chew the red beans also lacked that DR Caribbean flavor for sure there are other DR restaurants with in the same area.. 1 star but definitely a BIG 0

The food quality is amazing for the price is reasonable friendly helpful customer service open till 10 PM. They serve breakfast lunch and dinner.
