Best street tacos I've had so far in Florida. The people are friendly and they have tables inside and outside as well. Make sure you try the Horchata drink!

Good grocery store/ restaurant, if you want to eat there when you walk in go to the right to order your food. The ladies will give you a ticket with the price of the meal and you pay at the cashier register at the entrance. There are no waiters at this restaurant so if you sit down you’re just going to be looking up in the air waiting and waiting. Went there the other day for the 1st time, I sat down in the eating area and just waited until I became proactive and figured out what the hell was going on. The young lady at the register I guess was just gonna let me sit there like nothing, besides that the food is good my plate cost me $15.00 so not bad. The ladies that cook the food are sweethearts, hope this helps!

It's not a restaurant just a good place to get some awesome Mexican food. I loved this place growing up here. They can really hook up a burrito. I've been to many places from Tampa all the way to Miami and the food at La Tapatia is just better. Tacos, tortas, burritos, chicharrones, empanadas. What else can you ask for. Update from 2023. The dining area was remodeled and the food is still amazing. Last few pics are new.

Do not recommend!! I usually go to Zocalos for Mexican food but they were already closed so I decided to give this place a try. I ordered chicken tacos, a chicken torta and a steak burrito and none of it was fresh or had a good taste plus it was very expensive. First and last time!
