La Tavola

I visited La Tavola with a party of 6 and we had a pretty good experience. We came in with high expectations based on the neighborhood, and all the reviews. Overall it was good, but nothing really blew us away, and the pasta did t really have the homemade quality we were looking for. I had the Veal Scaloppini, Eggplant parm appetizer and some olives. My friend had the fish and an antipasti plate, the cheese was good but the fish was a bit bland. Nothing was bad, but it didn’t quite live up to our expectations.

Came here for my birthday before the winter storm. Delicious food and absolutely wonderful service! The dessert was a surprise from the staff, which I greatly appreciated! Will definitely be back

Their special bruschetta with homemade focaccia bread - marinated tomatoes, prosciutto, and pecorino Romano cheese with olives on the side, dinner was homemade pasta with clams and Sardinia caviar (the owner is from Sardinia, Italy), then finished with fresh strawberry panna cotta! The food was absolutely delicious. The bruschetta on homemade focaccia had a delightful mix of marinated tomatoes, salty prosciutto, pecorino Romano cheese, all sitting on soft and crispy bread. Mark is the friendliest bartender 🍷, and Luca is a thoughtful owner who ensures every visit outshines the last. A true neighborhood gem! 💎

Incredible Italian food in Baltimore! Impeccable service. Our waiter Shabaz was a true professional. Highly recommend carpaccio and shrimp and calamari app. Home made pasta is perfect. Any fish they have that day is a must.
