La Tonalteca

The food was not good at all, and the presentation was very poor. I remember eating once at La Tolteca in New Castle County and the food there had great presentation and was delicious. But here, the presentation was a 0 out of 10 and the flavor was a 2 out of 10. I make better food at home with better presentation.I hope this review helps the owner improve.

Food and service were good the saloon has a lot of personality which enhances the experience. Definitely we will return.

We love this place! It has great Mexican-style charm in the dining room and the food always hits the spot. The carne asada tacos are especially great. It has a large menu with all the favorites and they’ve got Mr Pibb! We also like that the dining room isn’t loud and the prices are great. Speaking as a Texi-Cali that’s scarfed down a lot of Mexican food, this place gets two thumbs up.

Absolutely great food, drinks, and prices! My chile rellano was spectacular. I always know by my ability to one get a rellano and by the drinks how a restaurant is. The drink and food prices are incredible. I can’t wait to go back! Look at that! My pepper was the entire plate! Love it!

Good Mexican comfort food. Food came quickly with huge portions. Service was a little slow the day we visited, but I think they were understaffed. Next time we are in the mood for good Mexican food we will return here.
