I recently had the pleasure of dining at a highly acclaimed French restaurant, and the experience was truly exceptional. Their signature dishes, particularly the foie gras and escargots, stood out— the foie gras was luxuriously smooth with a perfectly balanced sauce, while the escargots were expertly prepared, aromatic, and full of classic French flavor. The other dishes were equally impressive, reflecting the freshness of the ingredients and the chef’s meticulous attention to detail. The dining environment is elegant and comfortable, offering a serene atmosphere ideal for both formal gatherings and intimate dinners. The service is professional and attentive, striking the perfect balance between warmth and courtesy, which greatly enhances the overall experience. Considering the quality of
It is fancy restaurant, but food... 🤔was good, but not the best. Service awesome and atmosphere was loud. I did order 4way menu. Samon tart and Napolion desert was very basic and was with the crackers. Surprised me a monkfish. Was good. Another main dishes wasn't a big deal. A little disappointed. Need do reservation.
Decent French restaurant on Newbury Street. Wouldn’t have noticed it if I didn’t see it on Google maps. I had a ribeye steak for lunch and it was good except for being slightly overcooked (I ordered medium but it was cooked medium well). Great service and atmosphere. Lunch is at reasonable price. Worth a try.
Not the best experience but I’d consider giving it another try. I went with the prix fixe holiday menu and was left disappointed with all 4 of the courses. This is very different than the typical experience I’ve had at any other French or French inspired restaurant. This review should not deter you away from trying this place but to set proper expectations. Just don’t take anyone here if you are trying to impress them with your knowledge of local restaurants. I will say the wine recommendation was great and so was the service for the most part.
Came here for a lunch date during Dine Out Boston. My partner and I both ordered from the prix fixe menu — $36 for three courses. The price was unbeatable. For appetizers we tried the terrine and the cauliflower soup, for mains the monkfish and risotto, and for dessert the floating island and the chocolate mousse. The terrine was absolutely delicious and I could have had it on its own as a light lunch. The caramelized onions really added a lot to the dish. The soup and monkfish were okay, a bit bland for my taste but not bad. The risotto was similarly okay — good, but a bit plain. The goat cheese added a lot and made the whole dish. I would have that for a light lunch as well. As for desserts, the floating island was too sweet for me to have more than a single bite. The mousse was good, v
