If I could give a zero, I would. They do not take phone calls. The recording says to send an email. Well that doesn't work either. I have sent multiple emails with no response. Maybe they should put up a job opportunity if they need staff because this is very unacceptable.

I had a great experience when applying for my phlebotomy (CPT 1) california state license. I had accepted a job and needed my license within 3 weeks to be able to start. Although I submitted my information additional information (My high school transcript) was needed. I had questions and concerns. Although they didn't answer the phone they responded to ALL 17 of my emails within 24 hrs of my sending them and inquiring about my application. The whole process took less than a month (that's including sending in the missing information) I say that to say I received my license on time and was able to start my new job. Great experience and wonderful customer service.

This place is TERRIBLE when it comes to processing your certification or license on time. I submitted my application prior to sending in my transcripts. I do not recommend doing this, because they review first-time applications faster than they re-review deficient applications. It had been a month with NO RESPONSE from them, despite their call center confirming that my applications had been received by them. A month went by and it was complete silence from their end. I responded to their emails multiple times (as they stated in their deficiency email) stating that my transcripts were at their location. This is unacceptable there has been an obvious case of neglect to rob me of my money. Any answers I try to get is met with several days of waiting for a reply. Any deficiency I had I'd fix but over time they took longer and longer to reply. To the point where they obviously did not look into the documents I sent in that were fixed. Getting in contact with whomever is in charge of your application is impossible, the people you call at their office aren't the ones dealing with applications. If anyone has any tips for me to file a proper complaint and/or get my state license elsewhere, please let me know.

From the previous reviews and my current experience, I think this institution has improved from before but still has a long way to go. Email responses are hit and miss. Sometimes it responded straight away sometimes no response whatsoever. Calling them is hit and miss too. If you are lucky to get connected they can be helpful. But most of the time no one is answering the phone (wait time 40min+). For new applicants, I strongly suggest waiting for all your documents to be received by them before actually submitting your application fee. It takes only 2 days for them to tell you what documents you are missing after submitting the CLS application, but takes forever (3-4 weeks) before they let you know if they receive more documents from you.
