Lagonias Bistro

We stopped in to try this small-town restaurant that offers a mix of pub food, Italian dishes, and pizza. Overall, the experience was decent but a bit uneven. We ordered a small pizza, which was average. It arrived hot and fresh, but personally I’m not a fan of cornmeal on the bottom of the crust, which affects the taste. Others in our party ordered a variety of dishes. The paninis were hot and fresh but did not come with any sides, such as fries, which was a little disappointing. The Italian grinder was also hot and fresh with a big bulky roll. The burger was hot and fresh as well and did come with hand-cut fries and a half sour pickle which was a plus. The standout items of the meal were actually the pickle (not many restaurants serve these anymore), the hand-cut fries, and the sauce on

Unfortunately didn’t take pictures but I got 2 quesadillas and steamed broccoli it was amazing. The menu has too many options but that means there is something for everyone. I will be back. well done Lagonias Bistro well done

I am my partner had a nice outside experience, we just happened to stumble by this place, it was a cloudy trying to rainy Sunday late afternoon, on August 24, 2025. I had the Roasted Duck, was talked into it, and great choice, the cranberry sauce I think had a hint of horseradish in it, man really awesome, she had the Pasta & Grandma Sauce, she enjoyed it. We will be coming back to eat, an hour drive for us, well worth it! It has it steady flow of customers with tips of what to order. Thank you for turning our day into a very pleasant one!

We are stopping through town for dinner. The menu is great here, lots of options for everyone to enjoy. We ordered fried pickles and mozzarella, tomato basil for apps, both were great. The pickles needed a little more tang flavor for me, but very enjoyable. We ordered eggplant parm for dinner, very well seasoned and delicious. It was massive and great for two people. Our server Jessie was amazing, very accommodating, polite and easy to talk about the menu with. Overall great stop for dinner, would recommend to others. Very cozy.

Really good food - and reasonably priced - in Chatham. Perfect before an evening at the Mac-Haydn! We had chicken, seafood, and pasta dishes. All were rock solid. Ambience is clean and simple, nothing too charming.
