They publish the newspaper 3 days a week, periodicals less often, covering the local area pretty well. School Sports are big, reflective of readers' interests. In spite of their ads, they do cover goings on in Hamilton County as well as Columbia and Suwannee Counties.

It’s nice to read local news, but the quality of this paper is mid. There are regularly formatting and grammatical errors, and whoever chooses what goes in the opinion section obviously has some bias. It does not come off as a paper written and managed by professionals.

The lake city reporter has a lot of great people working there. Plenty of coupons too! And the paper is good but only for people who prefer more modest news. Not run very efficiently though I have to say. The papers don't get printed on time and the paper carriers take all the heat. But still pretty good in my book. 😊
