Lala's Mexican Restaurant

Our lunch was delicious! I asked our waitress, Ana, what her favorite plate was and she recommended getting the green chili enchiladas and add the sour cream sauce to them. My husband ordered what Ana recommended and it was delicious. I ordered the big daddy plate (no fries) and it was also delicious. All our food came out hot and fresh. They made fresh homemade salsa while we were there and we took a cup to go, it was that good. 10 out of 10 would recommend to a friend and we will go back.

Had the fajita nachos. Meat was round steak cut into strips and very tough. Salsa and chips were very good though. Cold beer as well.

Ordered the Carne Asada but they were out of it and suggested the chicken with queso instead. This turned out to be a blessing because it was the best queso I've ever had. Plus the chicken was grilled to perfection.

Such a delicious meal with homemade everything including the salsa/hot sauce. Service was phenomenal. During my traveling adventures I love going to smaller restaurants and meeting the people there. This place will definitely be a stop again.

Driving West on the I-10 and needed to stop for lunch. Saw the exit for Sonora figured we'd see what they had to eat. Drove around the sleepy town of Sonora and saw a sign pointing to LaLa's. The food was good, interior was nothing exciting but we were there to eat. Our server was very nice and kept our beverages filled. I had the Big Pappy Burrito with fajita chicken. It had cheese sauce on it, and it would have been fine with red or green sauce. My wife had a taco, beans, and rice. If you stop at Sonora, take the second exit. You'll be closer to town and gas.
