LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

So.. my husband is out of state and I always have a Christmas doughnut. This was a huge surprise and special for both of us this year. This is how they packaged my bar and all the frosting is stuck to the bottom and there was no sheet around it or nothing to protect it. It was a mess and my husband was very sad on spending the money to get it to me as a surprise and it shows up like this!! I’m very disappointed and I wish they cared about deliveries as much as walk-in customers 😭

The only complaint I could even say is that the doughnuts are a bit pricey. I bought 2 dozen with some specialty donuts in the batch and a 84oz coffee jug to go. This ran me a little over 100$. HOWEVER, the manager ensured they are military friendly and happily gave a discount, as well as, commended me for my service. As for the doughnuts themselves, I am a prior sous chef, with experience in advanced baking. These doughnuts are made with LOVE. Crispy outside and soft and flaky on the inside. Atmosphere is amazing and how a bakery should look. I am adamant on cleanliness (as I said I was a chef before) and this place is neat and tidy, fullfilling a hugh expectation I have for food service. Would highly recommend anyone to this establishment. Just be wary of the price.

A sizeable selection of donuts which were large and fresh. The raspberry filled one I got was very large with lots of the raspberry filling. It was also heart shaped for the Valentine season. The coffee was slightly burned but still drinkable. The space was clean and pleasant with lots of seating. Service was reasonably prompt and professional. Parking is not an issue at this location.

I'm from Florida and good pasteries are hard to find here. Ive been here for 3 years and honestly I can say this has been the best donut I've had in Denver. Top notch flavor texture fluffy yummy donut.

I try to support local businesses, but my experience today at LaMar’s was disappointing. I paid $11.20 for a large coffee and two donuts. The coffee was so bad that after one sip I threw it out and had to buy another one from Dunkin’. I really hope this was just a bad day!
