LaMar's Donuts and Coffee

I had an amazing experience today at LaMar’s Donuts in Parker. The donuts are, as always, top-notch, but the real standout was the new manager and his wonderful staff. Their friendliness and professionalism made the whole visit feel warm, relaxing, and truly enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This was the 2nd time my boyfriend brought donuts home from this place. So good every time! This time he brought home this massive sized apple fritter. We warmed it up in the microwave for 30 seconds. So yummy and delicious! Takes just like freshly made apples were used in the dough. These donuts taste like they are made with love. Will be a return customer. Thanks guys!

When I got home after picking up my online order for Christmas morning, I actually wondered, for a moment, if I’d received the wrong box, even though my itemized receipt was taped to the top. Half of the dozen carefully selected donuts I ordered had been substituted. I was not asked or even notified that there were substitutions. Especially considering how expensive these donuts are, I am extremely disappointed. I doubt we will be back.

Unfortunately these donuts were just not good. The ladies who served me were absolutely lovely, so no complaints about the staff or store itself. The cake donuts were dry, and the raised donuts were overly dense so likely over proofed. The glazed donut did that thing where all the icing was soaked into the donut so the top was just wet. The strawberry sprinkled donut was like biting into a dry loaf of bread, and the icing was waxy and hard. If I walked into a grocery store to buy 1-2 day old donuts this is about what I’d expect. For a stand alone shop this was pretty disappointing, I had always wanted to try La Mars and that will be the last time.

Expensive!!! I will never come to this place again. $30 for six donuts is insane. Nothing special about the donuts other than the price. All I got was six glaze, 2 chocolate iced and one cream filled. $30!!! Do not come here unless you want to get taken advantage of like I did. Support smaller donuts shop as the quality is the same if not better and prices are reasonable. I purchased feom the Englewood/Lone Tree location but I'm leaving the review on all locations because I'd hate for this to happen to anyone else. Lamar donuts gotta make this right and not just reply to this with their generic apology.
