This was my husband and my first time trying Lao food, and we ordered the Nam Kao Lao to go, it was absolutely delicious! The flavors were amazing. The restaurant looks like a small family business, which made it feel very welcoming. Everything was very clean and organized, even the freezer items were neatly arranged. The owner was also very kind and told us their food is very authentic. We’re already planning to come back and dine in next time. Highly recommend!
First time trying this place. We ordered Lao papaya salad and chicken wings. And oh my God, the chicken wings were so tasty, and the papaya salad hit the spot. I recommend this place and will be coming back. The lady who took our order was so friendly and helpful.
Small spot with that Mom and Pop homely restaurant feel. If you want some good spicy Lao food, this is a small gem about 45 minutes from Boston. Larp and papaya salad are my favorites. Super crunchy fried chicken wings my kids loved. Pho, they got it. Spicy level is what you ask for and if you say spicy it is spicy (and good). A good side snack are is the bag of fried red chili peppers 🌶👌. They're not spicy but just that perfect fried goodness. I recommend this restaurant for some authentic Lao food.
I was craving noodles today so I decided to try their pho. They really hook it up with the veggies and tofu! LARGE portion! I ask for hot oil and they gave me extra with a cute little note. (Thank you for making my day!) I recommend getting their rad na. Their rad na never disappoint me. Their pineapple fried rice can be a hit or miss. Most time they're a hit though so I'll take my chance. Lol. You can't beat the price! Most dish are under $15. Give them a try!
They mainly do take out so only a few tables in the restaurant. Flavor wise, maybe it's us or maybe it's their style, but their flavor doesn't work with us. Compare to most of the other Thai, Viet, Cambodian restaurants in Lowell, their Pad Thai are very salty and sweet at the same time, too sweet. And it's not one off because we ordered 3 different Pad Thai dishes. On the other hand, the medium spicy Drunken Noodles I ordered wasn't spicy at all, I only took one sip of water. Also the Papaya Salad we got had too much fish sauce, and it's the darker kind, maybe we didn't order the right one since there are few different version of papaya salad and another photo posted in the restaurant reviews looks much nicer compare to ours. The girl working the counter and as waitress is friendly and po
