Las Palmas

Las Palmas is always a solid choice for Mexican in NWA. We've been going there for years now. This last time the server was the best we've ever had. Her name is Jennifer. She was so sweet and attentive. I had shrimp fajitas and my husband had the carne asada burrito with green sauce. We both got large margaritas. They do have the best drinks in the area imo. So thankful for this place. It is always good. 10/10 highly recommend

Friendly staff upon entry. We were quickly seated and had chips and salsa right away. The chips were very good! I had 2 pork tamales and a cheese tamale. The pork tamales were not pork. It seemed like maybe they had some sort of chili in them. It was not any type of pork I've experienced in a tamale. The cheese tamale was literally 2 corn tortillas with cheese. The flavor of it was good, but it the tamales were tiny and absolutely not what I expected. The beans and rice portions were double the size of my "tamales". The price was quite high for the food. This meal should have been a 6.99 meal and it was $14. My daughter had a chimichanga and she was confused by what she was given also, not what she expected. Great Mexican food after some mountain biking was an absolute delight! I got the nachos which were great and a fantastic cheese enchilada. It was all good, rice and beans. The service was great. The waitress was taking care of what seemed like all the tables. Definitely appreciated her. The hours were different on the door I'm guessing due to short staff. Definitely make it by if you can. Great food!
