Las Tapatias Taqueria

The burritos were amazing and a very nice size which is rare in 2026. We were able to cut in half and save half. The atmosphere is really nice too with the salsa bar and ice cream areas. I moved to Reno and mostly don’t try new stuff when I visit Chico so was nice to not be disappointed. Highly recommend

Hands down one of the best Mexican meals I’ve ever had! Everything tasted fresh and homemade: the guacamole was perfectly chunky with just the right lime kick, the carne asada was tender and smoky, and the mole sauce was rich and complex (you can tell it’s made with love). The staff was so welcoming and attentive without hovering. I’m already planning my next visit here.

Came here becuase it was recommend by a coworker. Purchased the posole. Not a good choice. Expensive plate for a few pieces of meat that tasted frozen. Waste of money. Place is also very cold, so if you decide to go take your own personal heater. I gave it 2 stars becuase the aguas frescas were the best 👌

I'm from so-cal, so Authentic Mexican food is a necessity. Here, at Las Tapatias Taqueria, it comes pretty close to feeling like I'm having a meal back home. Amazing flavors, salsas, Huge menu! The servers, and cooks are top tier! Highly recommend! I usually get the street tacos, but decided to get the taco bowl this time. Very nice portion size, delicious, and will order again!

Amazing food. Amazing service. And it’s an ice cream shop? Hidden gem for sure. 💖 I will raving and recommending to everyone in town. I think I found my new favorite.
