Las Trojas Cantina

I had an Horchata, it’s in a big glass and it’s pretty but it’s pretty bland and it also has some flavor that I do not know. I also ordered a chicken soup and it is also very bland even when I added salt to it. The lady that’s cleaning tables also touches our chips and salsa and also the brooms with the same gloves.

The food is not acceptable to be serving. The fresh veggies like lettuce is browning and old tomatoes along with dark dark guacamole. I ordered the Chimichanga Special. It was dry and sad. The initial look was okay but as for taste it was a miss. The melted cheese was sparce and again the cold condiments were past date and obviously should not have been served. I would give the food zero stars along with the Wed special margarita by the yard. The taste was awful. The staff tried to botch it up but nope still tasted like pennies and metallic sadness. They apologized not knowing what the awful taste could be. Thanks...I guess. I'm so disappointed I spent so much money and received such a bad meal. Service at the bar was top tier but the restaurant as a whole should be closed.

I truly hate giving bad reviews of restaurants. But they first brought out the wrong food. Then when they did bring the right food out the plates were hot but the food was lukewarm. Now the plates were hot, not the food. The chicken was to tough to chew. So I have concluded that I will never come back. Then I realized I order the same drink but it looks different than the first. The food might have been good but I will never know. The only thing that was good was the chips/salsa and my same but not the same drinks😔. This is the first time I've done a review as I'm in the restaurant.

Great spot with great lunch deals. Pitchers for $13-$15 (about 4 glasses) Service was very attentive and helpful! Chicken Enchiladas were delicious, and a ton of food for the price. Asked for hot sauce, got house hot sauce that was potent and full of flavor! 10/10
