Customer Reviews
I was very disappointed with my experience at Latham Bakery yesterday. My family has been loyal fans for years, so this was especially frustrating. I had only eaten a few bites of my sandwich when I noticed a brown, dirt-like substance on the lettuce and meat. I went back inside to ask for a replacement, as I expected this to be a simple fix. I rarely complain, having worked in food service myself, but I found how this situation was handled unacceptable. The employee refused to make another sandwich, was not accommodating, and her attitude was completely uncalled for. She suggested it was “cross-contamination,” possibly from the grill (though my sandwich was cold), and commented that it “wouldn’t hurt me” and “this is what happens in the food industry.” She even questioned whether it coul
Excellent experience! The person in the bakery that I emailed back and forth with was great and so helpful. The cake and cookie cake were delicious, everyone raved about the cookie cake specifically because it was so moist and the texture was so soft and good. Highly recommend!
First time here. Nice little shop on the square with a good selection of food and treats. Loved the red velvet cake! Service was friendly and prompt. Love the hometown feel.
Smaller place. Not to much walking space as they packed alot of tables and chairs into a tiny spot. Service was on the slow side. Food was not something I would go back for. Have gotten better sandwiches elsewhere, and the 2 soups ordered tasted metallic like they came from can not homemade. Their sweets looked good although we didn't try them and there was alot to choose from.
Nice caffe with good variety of desserts and drinks. Worth to get get down of I-20 in order to enjoy a coffee and a dessert, or something else. The staff does the work.
