I ordered the curry chicken with rice and beans, veggies and plantains with a side of mac and cheese. The curry chicken was moist, flavorful and cooked to perfection. The rice and beans were soft and fluffy and seasoned very well. The plantains were okay only because I've never had them before so I didn't really know what I was looking for as far as taste goes. The mac and cheese was super cheesy but didn't have much flavor so that's the only negative. Reasonable price for the amount of food and for 2025. Service was good as well. All in all, I'll definitely be back to try the other items on the menu!
Okay first time going I could smell the flavor from the outside. The food did not disappoint with the delicious bold flavors and yummy spices with great portion sizes as well. One of the owners Kenny was so kind and helpful. I’ve since come back to try the food again and it’s still BUSSIN!. I’m bringing my mom next.. highly recommend! If you want the vegan option you should call ahead it’s so popular:0 so far I tried the jerk & curry chicken. Now the goat ! So yummy omg.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 11/10 I work for Sandals and travel throughout the Caribbean regularly, so my standards for authentic Jamaican food are very high. This place genuinely impressed me. The food quality is outstanding — real flavors, perfectly balanced, and clearly made with respect for Caribbean cuisine. Everything tasted fresh and authentic, the kind of food you only get when it’s done right. What truly elevated the experience was the customer service. Kenny was amazing — attentive, genuine, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. That level of hospitality is rare and makes a huge difference. If you know the Caribbean, you know this is top-tier. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back.
The worst Jamaican food ever I am Jamaican Native and this is such poor representation of how delicious and authentic REAL Jamaican food taste like ! 1st when we got stationed in San Diego I was pregnant with my oldest son that was in 2019 I had the food the guy who worked there at the time name was Collin he was pretty nice ! The food wasn’t all that but I gave them my support! I didn’t go back untill now thinking it would be better and who ever the guy is in the front with all the tattoos has no manners! I called to see if they were still open and he had an attitude from the start ! Typical ! But when I got there it got worse . He was nasty for nothing while I’m asking questions he’s there watching football on his phone I asked about the menu he says everything was available but the
Update: First time I came to this restaurant it showed it was open but it was closed. Positive: As far as the customer service goes, I would say that the customer service was on point and what I expected from a traditional Jamaican restaurant. Kenny, I believe was a tremendous help and correcting my order. The rice and peas was good but the best part of the meal was the cabbage. Negatives: The second time I came to the restaurant I ordered a jerk pork dinner which was by far the worst jerk park I've ever had in my life. The pork should have been thrown away 3 days ago. It was dry out of flavor and turning colors. I called the shop and let them know and they did apologize for the pork and told me to come in and get a replacement. The replacement order was decent. But for the price that y
