Layne's Chicken Fingers- Beaumont

When this location first opened it was awesome, now, not so much. I work in Beaumont so I’ve came to Laynes a couple of times to where I’ve been disappointed. On a previous occasion, my food was so salty i literally had to get a napkin and wipe the food off. I couldn’t bring it back because I was on my lunch break and I didn’t have time go back once I opened it. Yesterday 10/4/25 my daughter and I passed through on the way out and ordered us a kids meal. The lady at the window was very friendly and polite so that was a plus but that food. Horrible! This is a prime example of check your food before you drive off in which we didn’t. I got down the road and my daughter and I took our food out and was disappointed. The batter was literally gone off the chicken tenders. I’m not one to complain

I have visited this location three times, and each time I have received excellent food and exceptional service. The staff is incredibly kind, with the ladies being especially welcoming and the gentlemen always polite. The food is consistently hot and fresh. In my opinion, this location doesn't receive the credit it truly deserves.

I have been to this Layne’s location a couple of times since their opening. Their chicken is more seasoned than their competitors, but it tends to be heavily a on the drier side. The toast is just regular white bread that is buttered and grilled. Their fries are really crispy and are the best part of their meals in my opinion. I have also tried the salted caramel milkshakes, which are a good blend of sweet and salty, but on the thicker side. However, if you are ordering large orders, please check your food and make sure they have everything correct. I recently ordered two of the family packs. One family pack consists of 20 pieces of chicken amongst fries and toasts. My order consisted of one regular family pack and one spicy family pack, which comes out to a total of 40 chicken tenders. I was skeptical since I've been a Kanes fan for years. I originally thought Laynes was copycat of Kanes from the appearance, but upon research, I found out it is the other way around. Kanes is total knock off of Laynes. Laynes has way better sauces, fries, and chicken. Their options are much better. I love that they have gravy and the gravy is bomb!! My fries were outstanding, and the salt they put on is divine. Just the perfect amount. The staff was friendly and fast. The drive-through line went all the way put and down the block. There was a line in the store as well, but it didn't slow the speed of us getting our food. They use Sonic chewable ice, so double plus! The sweet tea was meh. It's not horrible, but not the best. Many sauce options. They have spicy option for chicken as well.

I was on a road trip and had too find something to eat before hitting the road again. I seen Layne’s and decided too give it a try. When I say it was so delicious I mean it. The lady that was in the drive thru was very polite and patient. Layne’s had very good seasoned tenders spice was good! THERE ROOTBEER IS SOOOOOO GOOD! Layne’s is the place you should try while your on a road trip!
