Customer Reviews
Water temp was a little cool for smaller kids who aren’t fully in the wave pool the whole time. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Free life jackets. Locker rooms were easy to navigate. A little too much time in between waves. Kiddos get impatient. Fair pricing.
Been coming here since I was a baby! So many good memories at surf n swim growing up in Layton. I no longer live in UT so I hadn't been in years but we visited over the summer and made a stop. I loved seeing my kids get to experience some of the fun I used to have every summer. We loved it!
The staff have always been good to deal with there just isn’t a lot of options at this pool. The wave factor is unique but no diving boards, no slides, the “Wibit” you see pictured is a Fall Monday-only thing. The largest city in Davis county needs a big nice rec. center like Bountiful or Clearfield.
Pool facts: was 80 degree water in August. It was very chilly after sunset. 8 feet deep at the deepest. Waves seem to be every 20 minutes or so. Surprisingly, the waves are the MOST intense in the shallow as you walk into the pool. Which wouldn't be good for toddlers and babies. (Like, the waves knocked me-a grown-up, over while sitting.) 3 student size tubes for all sizes of kids/adults. (Unlike Cherry Hill, which only has big ones.), I went here for a neighborhood party, and it was great. Big grassy area with tables for eating and mingling and playing yard games. They let us play loud, fun music during the party until 10 pm, which made it fun to dance in the pool. Fun pool! I will definitely be back. **If you liked this review or thought it was helpful, give it a thumbs up. 👍thanks!
Super excited to take my family here. Heard so much about it IN THE PAST. We get here and there is no where to put our things, there are no chairs to sit on (except for about 10 which were quickly swept up). The two covered areas are reserved only. I see elderly people looking for a place to sit and the pool just opened. I’m sorry but if you’re saying you don’t have chairs due to COVID-19, the studies show the virus breaks down in 80 degree temps. It’s going to be 97 today. Uncomfortable, absolutely no shade, tables, umbrellas or chairs. Just some METAL pick nick tables in the sun. Lost my business.
