My husband and I went to the Layton Hotel Tavern for the first time last night. We had the most awesome food that I plan on stopping there more often. It wasn't too loud enough though the bar was full. Our waiter Jonathan was so polite and attentive. He made sure our food came out hot and delicious. The tavern is a very pleasant place to stop for a meal and if you drink they have a large variety of beers. It's out of the way but worth it...Try it..Located in Layton NJ...
The best thing about Layton Hotel Tavern is the food. It was delicious especially the mozzarella sticks we ordered. It was cheesy perfection! The staff were incredibly kind, however they were low staffed that night so things took a little long yet the mozzarella sticks came quick. Things do add up and for 2 meals, one appetizer, and one drink the total was practically $50.
Everything is excellent! I love their food, the people are very welcoming and the place has a great ambience! Will be back soon!

Though it is a full hoagie not a half. The piccata was good but either they didn't strain the pasta at all or not correctly. Overall I was genuinely surprised about the quality of this restaurant.
This is a legendary hole in the wall for locals both Jersey and PA side. Arguably the top contender for authentic NYC style pizza with that crunchy thin crust undercarriage, homemade classic marinara sauce with even distribution and hand-made mozzarella. It simply cannot be defeated. The pie you'll see in the two images I added to this review is a personal size Margherita. I was on the way home from work, starving as usual(I'm Ukrainian, we loooove to eat), and I couldn't recall the last time I had their pizza so it was an easy decision to make because I didn't involve my Queen in it, otherwise this post would've likely never happened..... My family moved to Dingman's in late 2000 from Brooklyn, NY. We know what a good slice or pie is. Too many joints all over the place claiming to have th
