Lazy Caffè

What a lovely addition to Lake Hiawatha — such a great new spot for coffee! When I stumbled upon Lazy Caffè and learned it was an Italian coffee shop, I knew I had to try it right away. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. Their lattes are surprisingly affordable, and the flavors are absolutely delicious. We tried a couple drinks from their Valentine’s menu the “Berry Much in Love” and the “Love You A-Latte” and the berry latte completely blew me away. It was so unique and incredibly tasty. I will definitely be coming back!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ There aren’t any reviews under five stars — and there’s a reason for that. The coffee is excellent. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. The food is genuinely kitchen-made — not just something reheated and rushed out. You can taste the difference. Even the little details stand out. The bathroom is spotless (and yes, they even have a coat hanger — a small touch that says a lot about how much they care). The music and ambiance truly make you feel like you’ve been transported to Italy. It’s the kind of place where you can sit for hours, sip your coffee slowly, let your worries fade, and simply be “lazy” while watching the world walk and drive by outside the windows. A perfect spot to unwind.

I've been here twice now and am extremely impressed with their wonderful and friendly service! I really enjoyed their berry/yogurt/granola bowl and their pistachio muffins. I've enjoyed their regular lattes and also tried a "Love You A Latte" which was a specialty for February. Yum!

Lovely spot! I ordered a cappuccino because, you know, "when in a coffee joint" that's what I order. It was beautifully executed and for that reason, I didn't want to touch it! The brioche filled with pistachio creme was fantastic! My daughter got the cinnamon bun (not pictured) and it was SO GOOD! Not the usual treat that we Americans are used to- sticky, loaded with 100 grams of sugar, and skimming on the key ingredient- cinnamon. No my friend, it was everything cinnamon topped with a lightly sweetened handmade cream. Let me tell you, I. Was. Here. For. ITTT! 👏 👏 The ambiance is nothing short of cozy and welcoming. It was so nice getting to chat with the owners of this establishment. I am totally on board with their vision and their hearts behind their "why?" From their strategic space

The staff and environment were amazing! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and loved it. Such a great spot for locals!!
