Lazy Sister

Overall, it was a good experience at lazy sister, we were seated within about 10 minutes and had a nice two top seat. Ordered drinks right away and they were really good both the old-fashioned and the piña colada type drink that was in a adorable kitten mug. The appetizers were fantastic. We got the duck steam buns and the soup, dumplings, and pork. Those were both fantastic. My husband got the dry fry Szechuan vegetables and I got the chicken and broccoli. To be honest, he loved his mine was just OK. The chicken and broccoli was what you would expect from any other Chinese restaurant. It didn’t do anything special, but it was good. I’ve been to Lazy Sister in Norwalk twice now, and it’s quickly become one of my favorite spots. The first time, I didn’t have a reservation but they were kind enough to seat us at the bar, which was actually super comfortable. If you’re planning to go with a group, I definitely recommend making a reservation in advance. A nice touch is that the restaurant will call you a few hours before your reservation to confirm. Just a heads-up, if you don’t confirm, you risk losing your table, and they won’t seat you until your entire party has arrived. We dined at Lazy Sister this evening with another couple, holding a 5:00 PM reservation. Based on the restaurant’s reputation and online presence, we were very much looking forward to the experience. We were seated promptly upon arrival and ordered specialty cocktails while awaiting the rest of our party. The atmosphere was warm and lively, and the staff were welcoming and professional throughout the evening. Once our friends arrived, service flowed smoothly our drinks, appetizers, and entrées were all excellent, and the waitstaff remained attentive without being intrusive. The quality of the food and the pacing of the meal allowed us to genuinely enjoy both the cuisine and conversation. Food is so amazing had to make a view on it! My significant other and I came by wanting to try something new. We really enjoyed the soup and calamari, don’t get me started on the entrees! The spice is just perfect, my dry pepper style plate was the perfect bite size! We’ll be coming back soon!

Lazy Sister is the best Chinese food I’ve had!!! No joke, the food is so good and doesn’t leave you with a stomach ache like a lot of other places. I think my family and I tried almost everything on the menu. The beef scallion pancakes were the most unexpected but delicious. The soup dumplings. The noodles. The Mongolian beef. The soft serve at the end. I can go on and on!!! And the chili oil was a perfect addition when I wanted an extra kick. Can’t wait to come back and try everything else I couldn’t during my first visit!!! 12/10 recommend for your next dinner out (or even take out!!!).
