Our trip to Le Bec Sucré in Rhode Island was nothing short of magical. This French artisan bakery has quickly become one of our favorite discoveries—a place where passion for craft meets warm hospitality. We arrived early in the morning and were greeted by a line of people stretching into the parking lot, all eager to experience the bakery’s renowned creations. The doors opened promptly at 7 AM, and despite the crowd, there was this unspoken excitement in the air. No one minded the wait. We woke up at 6 AM so that we can be the first in line before they open at 7 AM. Things can sell out so quickly but it’ll be so worth it. Their buns, breads, tarts are all so good. We’re looking forward to standing in line early again once we go back in a few months.

Delicious, decadent, buttery — all the things you want in a croissant or pastry. The charcoal baguette super unique as well. Lovely staff. Getting there early is a must — they were already restocking at 7:45am!

Worth being at the door at 7 am to get your choice of the best pastries in Newport! I had the pleasure of visiting a few times and just walking in and the smell reminds me of my trip to France. The delicate crunch, flavor, and honey combing of the pastries will keep you coming back. I tried multiple pastries and can attest you cannot go wrong whatever your selection. Wishing the chef and team continued success as they look to expand!

We just dropped off my daughter for the Newport marathon early morning before 7am, then went to this place right before it opens. Good thing we did, as we found out later they sell out their goodies very fast! They only open 4 hrs a day 5 day a week.
