Great, high quality pastries made with imported French butter & ingredients. Hard to pick just one or two things to get. Also have great coffee, crepes, & macarons. Owner is the nicest guy. Highly recommend stopping by for pastries & coffee.

Stopped by here with my kids; with the location immediately across from the train station, it makes it an ideal location to hop on and off. The food was incredible. All croissants and danishes made in house, and they TASTE like it. The ham and cheese croissant was our starter, along with a nice smooth espresso for Mom. We ended with a sugar crepe, dripping with butter, and super light on the tongue. Bought a bunch of pasteries, all of which we are about to heat up and dig into at home. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. The bakery was clean. We will be back!!

After our stay at Hilton Pearl River, we were driving home during a steady rain and looking for a brunch spot. Within 12 minutes, we passed through Hillside and noticed the sign on the Le Carre window and quickly parked in a small, free one hour parking lot across the street. We were pleasantly greeted as we walked in the door. There are not many tables for four, but we were lucky to pick from two of them. Our food, turkey avocado and ham and cheese sandwiches only took a few minutes and hit the spot. The staff were very helpful and friendly. A cool, authentic patisserie is not cheap, but the quality of our purchases were enjoyable.

The best patisserie outside of Paris, and better than most in France. Not only is literally everything they have delicious, unique, creative, made with imported ingredients from France, but the owner Raphael was so nice and you can tell they take a lot of pride in their work. We will be making this our new Sunday spot.

The best French bakery in the neighborhood. The quality is absolutely great, and the staffs are very friendly. Sandwich looks big, but you will eat it all. Sandwich bread is very light and disappears without choking you.
