​A fantastic find in the DTC! Le French offers a beautiful, casual-chic atmosphere that manages to be both sophisticated and incredibly welcoming. ​Unlike many bistros that stay strictly traditional, they serve food from across France and beyond, which adds a unique, modern depth to their menu. ​What we loved: ​Charcuterie Plate: Excellent selection of meats and cheeses—the perfect start. ​Merguez: A delicious addition; the spices were spot on and added a great kick to the meal. ​Moules Frites: Absolutely delicious. Another fantastic meal at Le French! The service is top-notch and the food is delicious. My first time there we had the French onion soup, the mushroom risotto, and the ham & cheese crepe. Most recently, we shared the Camembert chaud, followed by the steak frites and airline chicken, ending with the chocolate mousse. Keep in mind that portions are modest and focused on quality, so definitely grab an appetizer if you're hungry. It’s well worth it!

This was one of the best dining experiences that I have ever had. It was my first time having escargot. I am in love. The cost was worth the trip. It can be a bit loud from other customers but that can't be helped.

My husband ordered the muscles, he said they were very good. I ordered the Crepe Jabon Fromage. Not impressed. The Crepe itself was tasteless, the edges were like a cracker. No ham on my Crepe. I do not like chicken, so I believe there was a mix up. What little I ate landed hard in my stomach, couldn't eat after that. My husband did order desert, it was refrigerated, he said in the past he had eaten it, but was served at room temperature this was why the filling was waxy and the outer part was again without taste. I love eclairs the shell was like one, but this was topped with powdered sugar and almond slivers. Can't remember the name. All and all, nothing I ate was special or outstanding.

We had a wonderful New Year’s Eve dinner! Steak frites and mussels were both delicious. The cocktails were strong and very tasty. We will definitely be back!
