Le Pancake Cafe

Came with my friend and we shared the strawberry banana chocolate chip pancakes with a side of bacon and scrambled eggs. I was pretty impressed as everything was baked into the pancakes and they were perfectly fluffy. It was the perfect amount of food for the two of us.

The food is good and the service is also really well considering they weren’t that busy. The setting is really nice and neat, also the design is like a very modern/classy farmhouse. Very nice. The only complaints is the ice coffee have way to much cream you can even tell from the picture I included the color is very very light. The French fries could also use seasoning or something as they were very bland/plain. Lastly what we didn’t expect is their menus. It was very very DISAPPOINTING they were literally like printer paper or something. That’s not really a RIDGEWOOD thing to do lol. I’ve been to ran down restaurants in the worst neighborhoods and they had better menus than this place. Definitely a thing to consider updating. Other than that the food was good. !

Very lovely dessert place in downtown Ridgewood. The staff are friendly, courteous and fast. The Classic Crepe is very good. I recommend trying this cafe.

Pancake Cafe is going to just be a one-time visit for us. When we walked in, service seemed to be friendly. We got our food and were ready to eat our lunch. Having breakfast for lunch should always be happy, right? I overestimated how hungry I was, and when the large pancakes came out, it was a lot to take in. For the table, we were given the house cornbread. For the meals, you come with an appetite. This review is not towards the cooks in the kitchen. The service at the front just got lazy, and it took a long time to get their attention for our check because they were too busy talking to each other and watching tv. It's a subday afternoon, we were the only table being waited on until another couple came, and they were looking over their orders. Prices were reasonable, all payments are

Avacado, tomato frittata was delicious. The portion very large and the home fried potatoes were seasoned perfectly.
