Customer Reviews
We came here to celebrate my birthday and the food exceeded all of my expectations. The steak frites was perfectly cooked, some of the best steak I’ve ever had, no joke. The endive salad was incredibly fresh and well-balanced. The French onion soup was both flavorful and quite light, which I enjoyed. The crème brûlée was a delightful way to finish up a 10/10 meal. The ingredients used here are all so fresh and high quality. Service was prompt, friendly, and attentive. Le Parisien is on equal footing with all of the unforgettable meals I’ve had in France. Bravo!
Pleasantly surprised by this hole in the wall French bistro in Murray Hill. The decor is very quaint and makes everyone feel like they’re in a Parisian bistro. Food is well done. Great flavors and perfect French fare - can’t ask for anything more. Recommend the steak frites and the profiteroles.
Did I just finish an entire pot of mussels by myself? Yes. Did I regret it? No. Generous amount of serving. The only thing I wish was served was some bread to go alongside the dish. My husband ordered the steak and it was excellent. However he would have wanted more caramelized onions. The service was prompt. Staff were all nice. Place is clean. It’s a neighborhood gem. Looking forward to trying their dinner service next time.
All the food here was delicious. Especially the steak frites, the meat was perfectly cooked and marinated and the flavors complemented the salad it was served with perfectly.
First time to Le Parisien Bistrot and what a great find. How did I find it? Embarrassingly, ChatGPT. My prompt? "Looking for a highly rated affordable french bistro in Manhattan". LPB came up as one of the offerings and was in a neighborhood that worked for me. Cozy restaurant on an unassuming street. Received a gracious welcome from the hostess (and maybe owner?). Ambience is a comfortable bistro, tables are fairly close together but the noise level is manageable. Menu was a nice assortment which included expected bistro staples, in addition to the daily specials. The food was flavorful and delicious - Escargot, Pate, steak frites, duck confit. Potion sizes were good. Small wine list all fairly priced, enjoyed a nice Bordeaux blend. A lovely Creme Brulee and decadent profiterole
