Leaven Creperie and Cafe

Second visit we've paid to Leaven in the last 30 days. We love it. Taste is amazing always, we've tried multiple things in the menu and even when the restaurant is packed, service is great, timely and on point. The crepes always made fresh both savory and sweet. If you want to try something amazing, try the local braised lamb gyro (crepe) or a classic like chocolate hazelnut. We've had also the ham and cheese croissant which is crisped to perfection. While it may be busy in the weekends, be patient, it's worth it as all is made from scratch and amazing.

Everything is delicious & I’m not one to indulge in baked good often. And there are some unique flavors - espresso cake with marcapone frosting or zatar cauliflower crepe. It’s a charming space and I enjoy how you can see into the kitchen as they prepare the crepes.

We went to this creperie both days we were in Friday Harbor! The menu is creative but has enough solid staples that anyone can find something. In addition to crepes, they have paninis, quiche, pastries, cookies and coffee cakes. The food was fresh and delicious. We especially liked the prosciutto, cheese, & caramelized onion crepe. It came with a chive pesto on top that we loved. The staff was friendly, the space is very cute, kids are welcome, and they even had live music the Sunday morning we were there! Five stars!

Loved this place! It is super cute inside with a surprising amount of seating and has such a warm vibe with fresh flowers everywhere. They even had some little toys for the kids to play with. The woman who took our order was super sweet and was chatting with the customers in such a genuine and sweet manner. The two other employees were hard at work and doing a great job. One of the kids looked like a teenager, yet he was so professional and spoke so politely with customers. I shared a chocolate hazelnut crepe with my son and we both found it SO delicious. It was well priced. I wish I would have found this place sooner as we would have eaten here multiple times on our visit. Keep up the great work! We love this place. Best pastries and crepes all made fresh each morning. We met Samantha, the baker and owner, a delight even though she had been up since 3:30 baking. Amazing flavors. The ham and cheese croissant is one of the best I've had anywhere in the world.
