Lee's Famous Recipe Chicken

Decided on such a cold night that I didn’t want to come home and cook, and I knew that Lee’s Famous Recipe of Richmond KY would hit the spot! The spot it hit was not a good one! Let me first say that the ‘order lady’ who took my order was very personable and attentive to my questions about my three-piece order and two sides. The lady that took my money at the window was also nice. I ordered the three-piece meal with a breast, a wing, and a leg along with my two sides. The order lady came back to the window and said can we give you a substitution of a different seasoning for the leg, and I agreed. But then they told her that they had found one. So this was my first time at Lee's Famous recipe chicken and I shared that with the man behind the counter! I ordered two spicy thighs and to my surprise when I went to tap my phone on the thing nothing happened and he told me since it's your first time it's on the house! What a delightful surprise! They were pretty good thighs too way way better than KFC! I would definitely go back again they were a little salty but fresh and delicious! Thank you 🐔🐔🐔

What in the world is going on at Lee's famous recipe in Richmond the last 3-4 times I've been there the serves and food was bad or just simple not there . the lady in drive thur looked and acted like she was blowed-a-way for real 😳 she wouldn't take my order or even talk to me she just said I'm going to ring you up walked by me to the back and started talking to the guy in back . you could tell the guy was not happy with her at all she did not need to be there as messed up as she was . I use to love eating there but anymore I mean the last 3-4 times I've been in there it's been messed up I can see maybe once or twice but 3-4 times in a row . I'm not much on K.F.C but I'm not going to a place where they let this go on I mean it was plan to see this lady shouldn't have been there I'm guessin

I understand the hype now, it tastes exactly like how KFC used to taste like and the biscuits are phenomenal! The service was very friendly too. Definitely worth the detour from our road trip!

Always check your food orders from the restaurant in Richmond. Got family meal with, Mac and cheese potatoes and gravy, cole slaw, and potato wedges. Didn't receive Cole slaw or potato wedges. Called the restaurant and told them. Had to take whole order and receipt back. Asked if they were going to redo order since food was going to be cold when I got back home since my family could've been eating while I was getting said food. Cashier asked so called manager and was told no. He didn't even come up front to talk to me about it. Needless to say we won't be going back to Lee's. Can't wait till Popeyes gets finished building in Richmond. Love that chicken from Popeyes!!!!!
