Ok... I am fat... I am a food guy... I am glad I don't live in SLC... This place would make me weigh 500 pounds. Some of the best biscuits and gravy I have ever had!
I came here maybe more then 15yrs ago& had the best pancakes. Fast-forward to 2025 — cheese fries are still 🔥 but the breakfast was a letdown. Lemon blueberry pancakes were a bit burnt, Eggs Benedict missed the mark, and the potatoes had no flavor. Service was fine, though the waitress checked in a little too often. Overall, not a spot I’d return to.
What a great vibe. If you are looking for a home cooked meal that you would eat with neighbors and friends at the local grill this is the spot. The halibut is delicious!
The GOAT diner in Salt Lake City. Legit diner with barstool seating and all the amenities of the 80s- minus the cigarette machine and being able to smoke inside. We ordered the Chorizo con huevos and the Bacon and guyere sauce omelet with coffee. We showed up at 9:30 AM on a Tuesday morning. Plenty of seating. Service was quick and efficient. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was hot off the grill. The chorizo was lightly spicy and paired well with the huevos and veggies. I enjoyed the home fries with my order along with corn tortillas. The omlet was cooked well with a generous portion of guyere sauce covering. Paired with home fires and toast. The waitresses here are friendly, helpful, and provide quick service from the kitchen. The restaurant is neat and tidy and ho
Did a breakfast stop and was slighly disappointed. The service was great, out server was nice and attentive. Got right in and ordered quick. The eggs were undercooked , which I could of sent back, but decided to trudge through it. Bacon was nice and crispy, and the hash browns were a nice sliced potatoes with some green peppers in it. Price was about what was expected. We will try again, sure just a one off on the runny eggs i received. The atmosphere was nice with the 70s feel of small town Americana.
